Geoff and I just got back from walking the dog...  I think Little Silver is where animals go to die.  We went about a mile and saw 6 dead birds and what I think used to be a bunny.  It didn't have it's head anymore, so I guess it could have been a woodchuck.  I didn't look too close.  Of course, the dog is a retriever, so she really wanted to eat all of that.  It was hard to keep her away from them.  Yuck...

Star Trek = awesome.

Zachary Quinto = nearly as good a Spock as Leonard Nimoy.  Which is saying something.

More coherent and detailed post tomorrow if I have time.  :-)

Well, my throat is no longer sore so that's good.  I'm still coughing though, and I have sinus stuff too.  Hooray vertigo!  *spins*  I think I need to go to the doctor, but Geoff doesn't get back from CA till Wednesday and most of my friends are busy with senior week stuff this week.  I'm skipping the picnic today, hopefully I'll be feeling well enough to at least go to book club tomorrow.  I'm definitely skipping the pool party, swimming sounds like a bad idea to me.  Geoff's interview is today, so I have my fingers crossed for him.  He's a little nervous, but I think he'll do better this time since he sort of knows what to expect.  Anyway, I have stuff to do today so I'd better get to it.  So long!

Things I have to do today:
Pay rent
Dishes
Clean bedroom
Put laundry away
Clean living room

Not what I was expecting, but not bad. :-)

Well, it's that time of year again.  The time when all of Russell Sage goes completely insane for two weeks, that no one else can understand.  Yup, I'm talking about Rally.  Tonight was kickoff, and it was amazing!  I think there were over 100 freshmen there!*  There were 8 Devils, and I'm proud of all of them for showing up.  (Little love!)  There was a pretty good group of Cows too.  It was so hard to sing "We're All Together Again" without Aggie, I almost burst out crying again.  (For any alumnae who read this who may want to come:  we still sing the verse, but put your hand over your heart and say 'She's here, She's here' for the response.)  The theme is "The Time of Our Lives" and our overalls are Kelly (Tick) and Ashley (Tock).  We've got a lot of great secondary overalls too, including myself!  I have been chosen as Can Overall (with Ariel as counterpart) and I'm excited.  Washing cans was the one area that I did help out with every year, so I'm happy to be assisting the underclassmen with it.  I have a nifty baseball cap with a blue ribbon on it.  I think I'm going to decorate it with pop tops once I convince Geoff to buy some soda.  :-)  Anyway, I've got some homework to finish up tonight, I just wanted to update.  I leave you with our class song:

You take a B, you add an L, attach a U, what do you do?  You add an E and what do you see?
BLUE, BLUE, BLUE!!!!

*I have decided that Hell looks like a never ending line of enthusiastic freshmen climbing over your lap.  Erf...

Fork doesn't seem to like his new hidey box very much.  He doesn't go in it very much, and he hasn't figured out the ramp yet.  Hopefully he'll get used to it soon.  Our new neighbor's puppy has developed separation anxiety.  He howls all day long, and scratches at the door every time I come back from classes.  I feel bad because he thinks I'm his person, but the constant howling is very annoying.  I don't really know what to do about it though.  I could talk to my landlady I guess, but I don't know what she would do about it.  I don't know our neighbors, so I don't feel comfortable just talking to them about it.  Mrow.

I have my first sociology quiz today.  I'm a little nervous since people who've had classes with this professor before say he's rather specific... but I did the reading, so hopefully I'll do well.  Anyway, I'm going to go get some lunch and head to class.  So long!

Geoff is building Fork a multilevel hidey palace with a ramp out of our old cardboard boxes.  I just wanted to make Fork a new hidey box since the old one is getting too small for him... instead, he now has the big air conditioning box over his litter box, a ramp up to the top of that, and a smaller new egg box propping up the ramp so it's not as steep.  Approximately 1 roll of masking tape is holding it all together.  Amusingly, the piece that makes up the ramp says "DO NOT STEP ON".  Hehe.  Unfortunately, my camera cord is missing so I don't have a picture to put up...  :-(  But it's pretty awesome.  Geoff says when we have a more permanent residence he'll build Fork a whole jungle gym out of wood.  That should be fun.  :-)

Return from the doctor

Well, we're back from the neurologist.  Geoff has to have a sleep study because the doctor says it sounds like he has a bunch of different issues.  He does agree that REM Sleep Behavior Disorder could be one of the issues though.  In order for them to see that though, Geoff will have to do something during his sleep study.  When I had mine for my insomnia, I slept fine...  I hope he at least does a small something.  He doesn't have to actually get up and walk around, but maybe he'll have a good dream and act it out for them.  I guess we'll see.

Well, I'm going to go make some lunch, then do the dishes and clean the kitchen.  So long!
