Geoff and I are watching the Batman movies on ABC Family. Batman Returns is on now, and Batman Forever is next. If we're still awake after that, I netflixed An American Werewolf in London, which is one of my favorite Halloween movies. Otherwise we'll watch it tomorrow.

Another nice weekend over. Friday night was pretty lazy... Geoff came home a little early, and we had shepherd's pie for dinner. We watched The Count of Monte Cristo, and various Friday night TV. There was much snuggling because it was so cold in the apartment. Geoff is very handy to have around in the Fall and Winter, he's so warm! :-) On Saturday we slept in, and Geoff watched a kung fu movie that was on TV. Then we went bowling! I'm bad at it... but it was a fun date. We stopped at Michael's where I got yarn to make an afghan for Rachel for Christmas. it's going to be like the one I made for Ariel, but with pink, purple, and white instead of blue, green, and purple. I found this really cool white yarn that has a sparkly thread running through it, but Mrs. B says Rachel doesn't like sparkly things. What kind of teenage girl doesn't like sparkly things?! Oh well. We went to the mall for dinner, tried out the Black Bear Saloon. Geoff was happy, they had the Michigan football game on. They had delicious sweet potato fries, and didn't look at me weird when I asked for ranch dressing to dip them in. Also, the best beer battered onion rings ever. We took a peek in Game Stop since Geoff refuses to leave the mall without going there. We came home and I made more Icozies. My poor wrist... but I can't stop now! Must have lots to sell at the church bazaar in two weeks. I have to get them in the mail to my mom next weekend.
Sunday we went grocery shopping. I drove home from the store, on the highway and everything! It went really well, the only somewhat scary thing was when I got passed on both sides at the same time and both cars tried to get in front of me at the same time. They saw each other though, so disaster was averted. It really is ridiculous here. The speed limit on that road is 50 mph. I was going 55, in the second from the left lane (there are 4 all together). The cars who passed me were going at least 65, possibly faster. Geoff usually goes about 65 on that road, and he gets passed routinely. I have only seen one person get pulled over, and they were doing around 90 and zipping in and out of traffic so they could keep up that speed. We have come to the conclusion that most traffic laws are just suggestions up here, and loose suggestions at that. When we got home we commenced to cleaning the apartment. It looks very nice now. :-) Then we made apple pie! It was much more successful this time, no 5 hour monstrous debacle. I mixed elements from a few different recipes and came up with a good one. It's a crumb top, so I don't have to eat massive piles of yucky crust. We combed Fork too since his seasonal shed has started. We got a furball about as big as him, and he's still shedding! We're going to have to comb him every night for a while I think. Poor bunbun, he hates being combed so much. You'd think he would want to have all that loose fur out. I got out the Halloween decorations too. Sadly, what was adequate for my dorm room looks rather sparse in the apartment. I think I'll hit up a few after-holiday sales though, since we don't have any festivities to go to this year. :-( This will be my first year not dressing up ever. It makes me kind of sad. Geoff has some stuff at work to do; they're having a cube decorating contest (he's taking my bat garland, orange rope lights that blink, and a few of my small stuffed animals) and cubicle trick-or-treating for employee's kids (he got a big bag of assorted candy at the grocery store). I don't think we're going to get trick-or-treaters here, but we have some candy just in case. I'm carving my pumpkins on Wednesday, I have three this year to make up for my lack of other Halloween fun. I'm doing Darth Vader, a ghost with bats, and a surprise one. :-D Anyway, I should go work on the icozies some more now. So long!

Geoff and I just got back from walking the dog... I think Little Silver is where animals go to die. We went about a mile and saw 6 dead birds and what I think used to be a bunny. It didn't have it's head anymore, so I guess it could have been a woodchuck. I didn't look too close. Of course, the dog is a retriever, so she really wanted to eat all of that. It was hard to keep her away from them. Yuck...

Empire Magazine has revealed its list of the 50 Greatest TV Shows ever .
1. Bold the shows you watch/used to watch.
2. Italicize the shows you've seen at least one episode of.
3. Underline the shows you own on DVD (at least one season).
4. Post your answers.
Zachary Quinto = nearly as good a Spock as Leonard Nimoy. Which is saying something.
More coherent and detailed post tomorrow if I have time. :-)
